Low Protein Easter Egg

  • 100g Vitabite/Chocotino
  • 1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil

  1. Break the Vitabite/Chocotino into small pieces and place in a small bowl. Place the bowl over a saucepan of hot water to melt the chocolate. Once melted stir in the oil. Take off the heat.
  2. Evenly spread your melted Vitabite/Chocotino into each half of your easter egg mould.
  3. Using the flat edge of a knife, scrape the edge of your mould to level off your egg half.
  4. Place in the freezer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4, at least 2 more times to build up the layers.
  6. You will know when it is ready when the chocolate comes away from the mould easily.
  7. To join together, spread more of the melted chocolate on the edge of one side, then stick to the other half. You could even put extra permissible treats inside your egg before sticking the halves together!
  8. Place the full egg in the fridge to set.
