
APPLE & CARAMEL PIZZA PIE

- 0 Mevalia, Lattis Low Protein Milk 25 ml
- 0 Brown sugar 25 g
- 0 Butter 25 g
- 0 FOR THE CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 0 Brown sugar 25 g
- 0 Cold butter 25 g
- 0 Mevalia bread mix 50 g
- 0 nutmeg 1/4 tsp
- 0 Mevalia Low Protein Pizza Base 1
- 0 cinnamon 1/2 tsp
- 0 brown sugar 2 tbsp
- 0 Mevalia bread mix 2 tbsp
- 0 Bramley apples, peeled and finely diced 200 g
- 0 FOR THE FILLING:
- 0 cinnamon 1/2 tsp
- 0 melted butter 10 g
- 0 corn flour 1/2 tsp
Firstly peel and dice the apples then toss them with the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Preheat oven to 180c.
Lightly brush the pizza base with the melted butter, cinnamon and place on a baking sheet.
Spread the apples on top of the Mevalia pizza base.
To make the crumble topping - mix together the Mevalia bread mix and brown sugar. Then incorporate the cold butter until replicates breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle it over the apples.
Bake at 180c for 25 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is browned.
Meanwhile melt the butter in a small sauce pan then add the brown sugar. Heat until the sugar has dissolved, then add the Mevalia Lattis low protein milk. Reduce slightly until the sauce comes together. To thicken mix the corn flour with a little water and whisk into the sauce until it thickens.
Allow to cool slightly then drizzle over the warm pizza pie
