And here comes Al!

Al, a young teenage PKU patient, is the star of our new Mevalia Instagram campaign, starting on Monday 7 October and lasting for approximately three months.

In each of the weekly posts, you can follow Al and his family in a series of cartoons depicting everyday life situations in a lighthearted way, without taking it all too seriously.

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness about the condition, and find the right space to defuse and frame phenylketonuria as one of the aspects that make up the diverse and varied life of a young teen, who shares space and experiences with his parents, an older sister, his best friend and a cute little dog named Buff.
