MEVALIA LOW PROTEIN PULLED JACKFRUIT SRIRACHA SANDWICH

Ingredients
  • Mevalia Pane Casereccio 2 slices
  • drained canned Jackfruit (shredded) 50 g
  • Heinz Sandwich Spread ½ tbsp
  • Sriracha chilli sauce ¼ tsp
  • small pieces of jarred roasted red peppers in oil (drained and sliced into thin strips) 2
  • slices of cucumber 6
  • Butter for spreading
  • Small bunch of fresh coriander
  • Salt
  • pepper
Preparation
makes one sandwich

Firstly butter both slices of Mevalia Pane Casereccio.

Place the shredded Jackfruit, Heinz sandwich spread, Sririacha sauce into a bowl and mix well.

Split the mixture and spread onto the buttered Mevalia Pane Casereccio.

Evenly cover the Jackfruit mixture with the cucumber, then the red pepper strips.

Finish with the fresh coriander and season to taste.

Cut in Half and serve.
